I ran the last solo event at Smokies using a weekend membership for SCCA. There's some older posts indicating that the weekend membership can get you a discount when joining SCCA. Is that still available? If so, how is it applied? I was on the SCCA website going through the motions. The form has a place to enter discount codes, but I didn't know what to put in the box and didn't see any way to choose.

Hi Keith. I think the weekend membership gets you a temporary membership number but I don't know that for sure. If so, you will enter your membership number at the beginning of the process.

You can also email them at membership@scca.com or call 800-770-2055 and ask for membership services. They are a good group. Sometimes the website is a little difficult.

Also... when you use a current member as a reference I BELIEVE YOU get a discount and the person that referred you will get a discount on their next renewal ( I think it was $10 ).
