Thanks, I've been wanting to do this for years, 2014ish, but something always came up. Probably a lil anxiety cause i didn't know anymore as well. There's another guy I know from the vw community, Mack that will be there in his golf R. Which is the main reason I decided to go this time!

I look forward to meeting new people, and getting comfortable with the autox format... I've watched a ton of youtube videos, and I have a feeling the cones are going to confuse me the first few times LOL.

I mean he hadn’t autox since early 2000 so I dunno when you are considered revirginized for novice!

Looks like he sure knocked the rust off fast!

Mack was pretty hardcore for a little while in the early 2000s.

I took a nearly forty year break before I started autocrossing again in 2011. I didn't consider myself a novice.

I'm just seeing this! I was a little embarrassed and I did give up my "trophy" to the 5th place Novice finisher! I ran PRO the next event as penance, if that's any consolation, and got my butt kicked....I'll remain there!!

It's all good! Since we already have someone that has the nickname Novice Pro (whole other story), we can just call you Pro Novice.
