Intersection of Delozier Lane and HWY 27

Post by bugdewde »

The old Rockwood Walmart......directions..

I-40 Exit 347/348 (can't remember which) That's Harriman/Rockwood exit.
Turn South on HWY 27 towards Rockwood.
Go about 5 miles.

for reference--- (You will pass a TN DOT on the left, Ace Hardware on left, Domino's Pizza on the right, Roane State Community College on the left, then a Kroger Shopping center on the right)

Walmart on the left. Intersection of Delozier Lane and HWY 27. There is a Captain D's and an Advance Auto Parts infront of the old Walmart.

If you come to a red light and the new Walmart...... back up a mile or so  .

At the I-40 exit, there are numerous eateries. McD's, Wendy's, KFC, Subway, Taco Bell, Hardee's, Long John's, Pizza Hut, Ruby Tuesday's, Shoney's, Cancun(Mexican), Krystal...........

From the last two events I have run, the course are generally pretty fast.

Yea, no kiddin'! The PCA does a great job of using ALL THE LOT and putting on a course that has tight obstacles, along with open area's that make it fair for all kinds of cars. Thats a really big plus, to me at least.
