East Tennessee Region SCCA

Our November meeting will be held at the Pizza Hoss on Oak Ridge Hwy in Karns near the advanced auto with the social starting at 6pm and the meeting at 7pm. This is the meeting that we nominate for club officers and if you or someone you think would be a good officer come on out and help the club grow. These are the positions in the club that we elect for the 2023 season and who is in that position out beside it now:

Assistant R. E. ----vacant
Treasurer---Eric Anderson
Recording Sec-----Mark Pilson
Board Members and we have slots for 7 board members and the following folks are on the board now
John Brown
Ted Visscher
Ryan Jarrod
John Ward
Paul McFall
Greg Miller

If we have more than one person running for any of the top 4 which are RE, Assit RE, Treasurer, Recording Sec or more than 7 folks for the board then we will have to have an election. Once nominations are made we will post up with the names after they confirm if they will run for the position that they were nominated for and then if an election is needed then we will set it up on line like we have done the last several years. I will add that if there is someone interested in serving on the board or as any other officer, we are experimenting with using Microsoft Teams to help those that can't be there in person but could otherwise set aside time to meet at our regular times. Those outside of Knoxville, here is your opportunity.

Elections are a good thing so don't think that you shouldn't run just because someone served in that position in 2022.

Pizza hoss is out as someone booked it before we did and I was just informed. We need to either go to shoneys again or somewhere else. Options?
