Event 1 check in
Re: Event 1 check in
To clarify on tech. I will be there both days as Chief. John Larkin has a knee injury and is on the shelf this weekend. I will be training David Goins (in a nearly identical 2022 Mach 1) on tech. Could probably use a third person since it is Event #1 and nobody will have an annual sticker yet. I expect those working tech will use that as their work assignment and will not have to chase cones.

I can help you Sunday Dave. Teching over 100 cars is not fun.

We can probably upgrade the hard drive in the slow laptop to a SSD, which should help tremendously. Cheap SSDs are only about 50 to 75 bucks for a name brand and make a world of a difference, I have a caddy that can copy the data from the old hdd to the new SSD as well. Just did it to my parents laptops and boot time and general responsiveness is way faster

This is not necessary. We have a brand new laptop purchased last year.Nick2500cd wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 7:45 am We can probably upgrade the hard drive in the slow laptop to a SSD, which should help tremendously.
