Discounts on GM Performance parts for members

I talked to the parts manager and the dealership owner here at work to see if we could work anything out to get us ETR members some $$$ off any parts. What I've worked out is only good for GM Performance parts but if you need anything depending on what it is the boss said they'd sell stuff at wholesale. Some parts will discounted deeper than others and every little bit helps. Just ask for Lynn in the parts dept and tell him you saw this post and know me, Russ Buckner.
In the future I'm going to see if maybe they wont sponsor an event or two but I dont need to push it just yet.

I'm thinking it needs a ZZ502 Crate motor...for towing purposes only of course

Yeah, but you wouldn't be legal for SM.
The trick setup would be to get a new VW Phaeton engine for it.
It might be a bit of money to get one, though.

Lee, about $8800 to $9000 or there abouts.
Steve, to give you an idea a ZZ4 would run about $4000 - $4100
