Sunday event still "on" if it rains?

Post by LeadSSled »

This is my first event, so I don't know how this works. There is a chance of rain on Sunday. Will the event still be held if there is inclement weather?

CMS-GT4,
That's a phat little celica you got there. I think Tyler Hamilton was saying that's an ST-105 with a front viscous-type LSD. It looked like, in the carousel, you were picking up the right-rear and spinning it under acceleration. Does it have *three* LSD's ??! I'm always curious about the AWD cars. Sorry to hijack the thread, you can PM me if you want.

Rear torsen lsd and front/ center viscous coupling lock.
Here is an interesting link on the subject.
http://www.geocities.com/gkurka2001/Car ... _4wd_2.htm

We have been discussing the diff system in our cars on our gt4 forum, so that we can get the most handling out of the drivetrain.

The front and center diffs work under accerating and braking situations, while the torsen is TORque SENsing only working on accerlating situations.

I was trying to do some heel toe in the car so I could apply throttle through the entire braking situation and keep tourque on the rear diff to help rotate the car.

My rear diff mount is broken, so the rear was not up to it's full potential, but the car did react fairly nuetral through the long turns.

I found that I had much more under steer when not using the throttle while going into turns. IF you noticed the couple of time I nose dived out of the turns and lost front traction. That is when I was not using the throttle when braking.

I wanted to use yesterday, to learn how my drivetrain handles on the course... wish I had some video footage of my run to see if I had any wheels off the ground etc..

It was a great event, I really enjoyed. I plan on staying longer at the next one. I just have to give work enough notice, and I will be able to come in later.

BTW, anyone get any pics?
