SeDiv caravan?

Post by thrdeye »

Pretty sure Trey, Stu, and myself will be heading down sometime mid-day.

Anyone else?

Oh yeah, I may have a wheel bering going (same one I already replaced). I plan on replacing the hub this next time. Since I am planning this, will it hurt anything else to run the car? I am just getting a mild "chirp" right now.

I would only think it would hurt your fender, wheel, tire, suspension, brakes, and undercarriage when the wheel comes off.

Other than that, you should be good to go.

Well, I could probably get a drive in Shawn's car, but that leaves Stu hi and dry unless he wants to drive the Mini.

Are you sure it is a bearing?? Front or rear? Mostly, bad bearings don't chirp. They grind or sing. Jack it up, turn it and listen. I have a stethoscope. If you want, you can come over to my place after work and we can check it out. I'll pm you directions.

Scott, got your pm. It's gotta be a bearing - I jacked up the car and could wiglle the wheel very easily. Already dropped the car at Duff's.

Thanks though

Anyone else leaving later in the day. I will be getting off a 5 and already have the car packed.
