ProIT/SARRC race at Nash Super Speedway 9/2 and 9/3

Post by awdbandito »

Is anybody else going to be attending this race? I just got signed off at my comp school and will be running my first two races. Just wondered if anybody else was thinking about entering or even coming down to spectate.

Sounds like it will be a busy weekend.

Ted-I'm running R3S05s, but can't afford new ones so you'll never get to change my tars. I'll come visit though.

I go to the Doctor today to see if my treatments are working and if I have a chance to make the Labor Day race. Damn, SCCA racing physicals and aging. I have offered to steward the race if I cant race.

How did that dr visit go Wayne? Sure hope you got the ok to have some fun with the Miata...
Ben & I are probably going to run the Nashville events. Does anyone know why they cut it back to a single SARRC, and with nothing being run on Monday?

I spoke with someone in the office and since this is the first event the ATL region has run at the Speedway they decided to make it a single event and see how it goes, then if this one goes well all future events will be doubles.

yup, from what I heard, they wern't sure they could run all the groups before turning on the night lights. So to play it safe made it a single SARRC. They ran under the lights a few weekends ago when I was there. The Late Model Stock Car guys mumbled something about not being able to see Shiite in the infield so slower lap times. at only 1.8 miles, the T-1 vette was runnin just under 1 minute lap times
