Why would you want a wimpy little 4-banger when you could have this:

Or, better for drifting in the dirt: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Toy ... dZViewItem

BTW, Ted, if you buy a rallycross car and don't include me, I'm repossessing my trailer.

If someone wants to spilt a rallycross car, let me know.

I'm thinking "one time use," and I don't mind to keep it at my place short term, but would want to put it back up for sale right after the event.

I had a Corolla that I bought for $600 that would have been PERFECT, but alas it has gone on to a new home. :( (for $900;) )

Keep your eyes peeled. I picked that Corolla up from a guy that was a graduating Asian student that was moving away. It had some rust, but was in perfect mechanical condition with low miles with working AC for $600.

It would have looked good on its top.

Yeah, I would definitely go in on rallycross beater.

The city of Knoxville is having their impound lot auction next week. This might be a good chance to find a winner.

the " former low cost housing developement for family of mice"made me slow on that one...

I have driffed a SVX on Fox Rd when I worked at Harpers Subie.. I know what they can do... but over 3K lbs of warped space and time .. making something that huge feel so cramped inside. I've worked on an SVX... if it aint perfect.. you don't want to buy parts and work on em

Not just police cruisers. They also auction off cars seized for drug related crimes and street racing incidents.

Here is a list of cars that will be auctioned off.

Ha!! Items 62 and 63 sound promising, also the previous mentioned cruisers.

I like the items on the end. Looks like criminals like lawnmowers.
