Possible Dyno day at LNS?

Post by 4Davey »

Would there be some of you guys that would interested in going in together and having a "dyno day" at LNS? If we could get several folks together we could try and get a good rate. If there are any others out there that want to see where there cars are HP wise, let me know and I will try and put it all together.

Add me to the list. I've made a few changes and want to see if they helped. Besides, standing around watching all that grunt and roar is fun. Do you get an air/fuel readout too?

I really don't want to know what the Benz is putting out because I fear for my masculinity. I would, however, love to come watch. :D

Nope.

I would be interested in making some pulls with a wideband O2 sensor. I probably need a month before the car will be ready for something like that, though.

I am interested. Where is it though? I live in Johnson City and the only dyno we had around has closed. It would be sweet if you could schedule it for a Sat. before one of our events??? That way I could drive down and stay the night. I just did a little software upgrade  so I too am curious!

TIA

I'd be curious what the FF does with and without the muffler. Guess there is enough roll bar to tie it down.

I'm not sure if you talking about them...but Blue Oval Classics in Kingsport has a dyno: www.blueovalclassics.com - I'm faily certain they're still in business.

We were there in Oct...

I was thinking of Ride Revolutions...that looks like a cool shop. It just looks a little f-body biased??

Yeah, I think the name kinda gives away the bias. The owner is Beau Dunnivant, who races the hopped up 92 hatchback with American Iron seen below (aren't pictures nice). He sales (can order) just about any performance part you'd want and has a deal where for every $1000 you spend with him you get an hour credit of dyno time (though if you need him to tune you have to pay for his time).

Give him a call (best method) or e-mail: (423)288-8488 blueoval@chartertn.net

I've been holding off on installing a SAFC Neo that I bought until I could afford to get it tuned on a dyno. I'd definitely be interested if I could get it tuned during the "dyno day". If all I'll be able to do is get some pulls to show HP #'s then it won't do me much good and I'll have to wait until I can do it later on. Let us know!
