Evolution School Phase 1+2 at Nashville 05/24

Post by thrdeye »

I was thinking about this. Are both phases in one day too much to absorb? I am a pretty fast learner.

Is it worth the $440?

Anyone else interested? Right now, I'm probably not gonna do it, but you never know.

In my opinion, it would be a lot to absorb at once but I took them a year apart from each other. If you can't afford both, definitely do one. YOu get tons of track time and great instruction.

From the way it sounds, they are only offering the school as a phase 1+2 package on that day..I'll have to e-mail them to find out.

I've done the Phase1/2 schools in one weekend, one day for each school. We got to drive ALL day both days. I paid about the same ($200 a day). If they're doing both in the same day for $400, I would wait until they have a two day setup somewhere close. You'll get more seat time.

I thought doing them both on the same weekend worked out well. I was able to apply what I learned on the first day to what I was doing on the second day.

Chris, if it's all in one day, I wouldn't be interested...seems a little rushed for your $440. If it's a 2 day weekend thing then I'd be up for it no doubt about it. Where can I find more info?

It is definitely all in one day as the TRSCCA has an event the next day.

You can always go to autocrosschool.com to get some info. The evolution schools are great fun and you will get a lot of seat time with the best instructors in our sport of autocrossing. I would recommend it to everybody. I know when I took phase 1 it was after I had won nationals and I just wanted someone elses option of my driving habits. Its funny because its what you want to get from a school that you will get. I guess its true that we will limit ourselves. Go with a learning in mind and you will learn. I know several people that have gone to phase 1 or 2 a couple of times. I try to get different things from different instructors and look to see what makes that person fast.

Come out and have a good time.

Would our membors like to have a evolution school localy?

I think it would be great to have one locally. Comcast would probably be a decent lot to use. In the past, we've not really had a lot that was suitable.
