Any shops that rebuild turbos in Knoxville????

My turbo went out on the way home from walter state last sunday .... Does anybody rebuild turbos locally ?????

I know of soemone who used to work for porsche and do a few of their turbos. I will asked around since my E23 745i is turbo charged..........What Kind of turbo is on your car so I can ask?

if you want to drive to a place in Knoxville, City Diesel on Dante Rd (take Calahan exit off off I-75 north, turn towards Honda dealer, go thru red light at Weigel when green, City Diesel is on left before the railroad tracks) They send the turbos to the City Diesel turbo rebuild shop down in AL tho.

If you want to ship it, G-pop shop in Arkansas does decent work.

I rebuilt my turbo's cause I wanted to make sure nobody did me a favor and made them illegal per SP rules.

Think the Deadbolt guys autocross. Good excuse to drive the curvy roads between here and NC

I have also rebuilt turbos myself, not that big of a deal... might consider doing it yourself...

Don't know first hand but I have seen some good reviews on Deadbolt's work. He has also come out and autocrossed with us at BMS before. I don't think he came out this year though.
