Larger numbers and class designation please

Post by Killerking1964 »

Since I always do the job of writing times (which I LOVE to do by the way) could I ask a favor of those who use their own paper numbers. Could you PLEASE use larger (10 inch) numbers and larger (4 inch) class designation letters on your cars? It is extremely hard to see those paper numbers when they're smaller than that for us at the scribe and sometimes we have a little mis-communication from the guys at timing, so it helps me out a LOT to be able to see who's on course and on the line. Thanks, Donna King

No. I just noticed at the last Comcast event that there was a few, probably 4 or 5 that has really small numbers and class desig. letters. Their's were probably about 7" tall for the nimbers and approx. 2-3" tall for the class designation letters, some hand written and VERY hard to see!!!!!! Donna

This is a bigger problem when the time recording boards are located remotely from the trailer like at Comcast.

We have discussed this repeately on the forum. Come on guys, let's not have to take some draconian measures to get this fixed.
