Quick rundown of the details thus far. Cost is $30 and the event is limited to the first 32 cars. There will be two run groups and each group will have two sessions on track. Planning on 6-8 runs of approximately 70 seconds each. As you know this can change due to various issues, but that is the plan. We will run as many as we can. This event will start early (FCO 9am) and will run until 4pm. The course layout will be the same as it was for the event we just did at the speedway.
We have also reserved the track for Friday October 22. More cars will be allowed at this event as time isn't as much of a restriction
Big part of the cost difference is the track rental on Saturday compared to Friday, another part is equipment costs. The overhead has to be covered. While discussing the event it was looked at two ways, maximize pricing or maximize number of runs. The decision was made to maximize number of runs.
