rear wheel drive subaru??? dang...this is weird as hell. I never knew there was a connection between TOYOTA and Subaru or is this the first time they have come together? The car looks beefy for only 150hp but it is definetly a step in the right direction for TOYOTA...but it still is no Supra

from what I hear, that's coming...

I'm thinking of this more along the lines of a 240sx. It's not going to be light enough or pure enough to ape the AE86...as much as toyota might bandy that around, but if the engine bay is large enough it might have the future-tuner potential that has made the 240 quite the zombie sports car.

i read about this somewhere, supposedly it will only be sold in America as a Subaru and abroad only as a Toyota. I see an STI motor being the first swap... looks like a relatively light chassis too.

150 was for the concept car.

Subaru has 4-cyls that make 300hp/300tq - So it would be cool to have that in there.

I kinda like it, whats with the zippers on the interior though? Haven't seen directional wheels in awhile. If it weighs around of under 2500lbs I'd consider it lol.

A WRX or an STI motor would fit the bill. Or they could just 2JZ it and make all the zit faced teenagers happy.
