Anybody know a good "garage door" guy?

Post by rangerguy81 »

We've been having a ton of trouble getting my garage door to working right. The problems multiplied when we installed an opener. When we bought the house, the previous owner hit the garage door which through a lot of stuff off track.

We installed a new door ourselves when we bought the house. It seemed to work fine when we would open it. We put new side tracks in, but re-used the upper horizontal track. It would squeak pretty good while going up, but that was it. We did not have an opener at this time.

Fast forward to now, we have installed an opener, the door still squeaks when opening. Sometimes it binds up, and sometimes it will open up halfway and just quit.

This is something that we should have probably just had installed. However, my father is one of those who hardly pays anybody to do a job he believes he can do himself. I'm at the point where I would just rather have somebody that knows what they are doing take a look at it.
