Doug Allen is the STS Sediv Champion!!

Post by Mark McCrary »

I just got off the phone with Doug and he told me he clinched the Championship for the Southeast. I just thought you all would like to know.
Congrats Doug on a well earned victory.

Well, actually it was decided when Ryan Thompson and Heyward Wagner didn't make it. We had each won one event, and if one of us won this event it would make them the champion. It would have been nice to have had the shoot out in Norfolk, but this did give me the jacket with a win, 2 seconds, and a third for the year.

Terry Baker won the event this weekend with some great driving in a BMW. I was second about .5 seconds back.

Ryan is going to co-drive my car this year at Nationals, so last weekend in Atlanta we took the seat, steering wheel, and intake from his car and put them on mine. Last week I had an exhaust installed that will allow me to remove the muffler before racing. I also have removed the front anti-roll bar, stiffened the rear arb and changed tire pressures. The car is a just a LITTLE bit different to drive fast. I hope I can catch up to the car quickly.

Awesome! Good luck at Nationals, too.

Anyone know where I can get an '89 Si Hatchback? Seriously... Dad loves 'em.

I have seen a silver CRX Si for sale in the work parking lot in Oak Ridge. I spotted it sitting in a yard on Hwy 62 between Solway and Knoxville. They wanted $3500 I think.
