They pulled this same shit at dollywood... PCA seems to be as reliable as a set of worn out walmart tires full of plugs!

but I was contacted by PCA to help with the event because JF is out of the country,about helping with the event..I could not because Im RR at Nelson Ledges this weekend.... lots of things factor into having an event or not... some are un-avoidable.
He did what he felt he had to do..and Im not an advocate of bashing other clubs publicly on ETR forum. please dont be a hater.

Yeah, I'm a little embarrassed to have bumped the thread after that response. 'Just wanted to make sure no one held the date open unnecessarily. Jonathan et. al. are no flakes, and I enjoy running with the PCA and look forward to the re-scheduled date.

WE TRY TO HAVE AN EVENT WHEN WE CAN,SOLO OR PCA.SOMETIMES THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH ENTRIES FROM YOUR OWN CLUB TO COST AN EVENT. AS THAT SAID THE ONES THAT COULD NOT COST THE EVENT TRY TO BRING MULTI CLUBS TO THE SAME SITE. THEN GIVEN THAT THIS TIME OF YEAR IS JUST BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS THERE ARE A LOT OF PEEPS ON THE LAST VACATION OF SUMMER WITH FAMILY.!!!!!!!! SO RELAX AND THINK WOW I WONT BURN TIRES THIS WEEKEND AND SAVE THEM FOR A BETTER DAY,WITH MORE PEEPS.!hope you sleep god tonight.

I thought about racing Saturday, but need to save the tires for Nationals and the motor.....snicker....lol
THen saw there is a 60% chance of rain.
We need to be supportive of other clubs that post their events on our forum......Ya never know when if/when we may need their assistance with ANYTHING! @ least the cancellation made it on here before Friday....No harm, no foul! Just save your tires for the next AX a week from Sunday!

ETR hasn't always had the best relationship with PCA, but things have been good the last several years. Jonathan has been very receptive to our input and I've had a good time at the ones that I have attended.
PCA is a very small autocross club locally and they haven't had a ton of help at the events that I've attended. The best way to insure they have their events may be to contact them and see how you can help...

Those guys could run more events if they came out when we have ETR events.....JF and Bonnie are good guys......I think he appreciates when we help him out. at their events......

I understand there are many factors but the last 2 events I have seen have subsequently been cancelled. Not sure about this one but the Dollywood one was called off the night before because someone didn't acquire insurance....
I'm all for helping and being supportive of any clubs event, but if a group needs help they could let people know so they could be of assistance. If people don't know you need help, then they usually don't want to step on any toes trying to get involved.
