Alignment and Corner Balancing

Post by AcuraAttack »

So here in a week or so I'm going to need to take the Miata to have an Autox/Track alignment done on it and would like to have it corner balanced as well.

So I was wondering if there was any specific place you guys would recommend where I could get this done for a reasonable price?

John Brown was doing this last year. I would like to do this before the Adesa event also. I'd say he would be your best bet at setting up a Miata, he seems to have his sorted out pretty good. You still doing this John?

JB was actually my first thought as well...oh well Watkins sounds a lot more fun than setting up my Miata  Perhaps next season!

I've been saying I'm going to do this before the next event for a year and a half, a guess I can wait a little longer. Good luck at Watkins Glenn.

This is an endorsement: Joe can do just about anything. He helped me years ago to align the chassis on my Sports Renault which involved moving some of the chassis points to make the chassis square(evidently they came off the chassis gig at SCCA in a warped form).

They are known as Spec 'Recker's, they come from the factory pre-wrecked. They are just gonna get crashed anyway. some have been crashed and repaired better than others. 8)
