Where would I find a copy of the current charter and by-laws for our region?

Heh, there's got to be a way to refer you to our (unpaid) counsel, that both:

1. Infers that you, by asking for the charter and by-laws, must be a trouble maker...

2. Mocks Mr. Jarrard for spending more time taking pictures of people autocrossing than wearing a helmet...

Let me think about that and get back to you, lolol...

Berry I got your pm and I'll rry to help you out. Does Chattanooga have a starting point?

I think the charter is just a cardstock certificate that the scca sends your region. I have ours from last year here at home.

I have a pdf of bylawys

So says the Club's (unpaid) comedian.

Barry, I'm assuming based on the exchange that you are redoing Chattanooga's bylaws? I can do better than the .PDF- I have the original draft word file that I would be able to send you so you have a starting point. It is technically work product, so I'd need Chris's permission to send.

Ryan, just make sure you take out the part about the RE's salary and you can send to Berry.

No! Leave that part in. I was hoping to get paid. :)

I am fishing specifically for the sound policy. Plus, being a member of etr I was curious about the differences between the regions documents.

sound policy? that is not a charter item but rather SCCA.
The charter and bylaws really just tell you how to run the local region and there are so many variations that it really dont matter what ETR does compared to Chatt region. Chris gets double the salary and benefits that I received but as Jethro said, naught from naught is naught. naught x 2 = naiught I would come out of retirement if ETR would double Chris salary.
