2 day event, Greenville, SC - CASH PRIZES!!! 11/20-21

www.register.ccrscca.org

Anyone want to caravan, or take some pictures, or grap on some tireds?

So you don't have to click the link:

They put $4 into a pot for every car that is registered. They divide that equally amongst 1st place finishers. It's not often that you can win money by autocrossing, so I'd say that this event will have some very good cars/drivers. I'd like to see our national caliber guys out there, if you feel froggy.

Well, I went ahead and registered. If you're planning on going, post up so that we can make hotel arrangements and try to save some cash.

Noticed that the host hotel is $109/ night. I vote against staying there. Maybe at the Motel 6 or the Super 8 or something.

Man if this was a 1 day Sunday event I would be there. Oh well go win some my. I think you will only win enough to cover you entry fee but that would be enough to get me to go if I did not have to work.

Looks like I am going now. I wonder if we should take the CRX or the Celica? One has a radio and AC if needed and the other one would not. I miss John K.

I have registered. I have also booked a room for two nights at a Quality Inn about 3 miles from the stadium (1314 S. Pleasantburg Drive) which is $44+tax for a single king bed. This is with the SCCA discount (20% at any Choice Hotel).

I would share the room, but be aware I do snore. I can provide ear plugs.

From Farragut, it is about 225 miles to Greenville Municipal Stadium -- 3 hrs 45 min.

The Hyatt that is mentioned is in downtown Greenville and about 10 miles from the stadium.

BTW, speeding in NC is not advised.
