Haha, nooo - I wish. I actually have a date with my driveway and a trans mount tonight that I'm not really looking forward to.

That is john powells garage, he builds all the good race stuff for the cobalts. He is up in CAN and has worked with gm on all their factory racing stuff from the C5/C6 R to the CTS-V racecars. He knows his stuff. HR makes 3 bars in different diameters, this is the largest and suited to large rear street tires or stock race tires.

Yea, I'm thinking about doing the 245 over the 9" wheel to maybe dial in a bit more sidewall stiffness

Speaking of bfgs.....no talk about the rivals? If you're not fighting for tenths and you want a dual purpose autox/v tire that'll last a good while the bfgs are probably one of the best options. They really do wear like iron, but they feel like a vague screaming whore near the limit.....

but some real good info on them says that they were as fast as RS3 in a heavy STR car but got greasy real quick.. my car wont have that issue..and for the price..Ill try em! (and they were NOT shaved on the STR car)
