OK,
So a few of you that see me allot may know this, but I'm planning on moving to the area in a couple months.
SOO... while I have a headhunter doing the legwork for now, if anyone knows of any places or has any connections Let me know.
I'm a structural steel detailer ( draftsman ) with 24 years exp. I started drawing on the board and have adapted with the times. CAD / 3D modeling / etc...
any specific questions you can PM me or post something up.
I know of a few fabricators down there, but I'm sure there's more than 2 options or so.
Thanks in advance

What drawing/modeling softwares do you use? I know a guy that does some structural stuff, I'll ask him about it. If there's anything there, I'll PM you some contact info.

Aaron... sent you a PM back.
SDS/2 ( over 5 years ) is what I've been using in addition to over 20 years of autoCAD and board experience.
Thanks!
My headhunter called back this morning saying he's on the case, so I'll wait a little bit before contacting anyone directly as I don't want to double down on a place and set a bad 1st impression.

LOL... I'm working on it.
I had 2 interviews over the weekend and both went well. The 1st one went very well I think for both sides. I was offered a job later that day by them. Now we just need to kinda meet in the middle and tweak some things. I think it's a great opportunity.
The 2nd one wasn't bad, but I just don't feel I'm the right guy in the end for them. I think there'd be too much of a struggle there with me wanting to get them to advance their way of doing things.
Anyway, if all goes well with the 1st place, I would be starting at the last week in April.

Work update:
I accepted an offer @ a fabricator that I was put in touch with thru here. Thanks again Aaron!
I start on 4/28 so while I won't be able to make the Bristol event ( moving stuff that weekend ) I'll be around for the rest of the season.
