Awesome event today!

I was cussing at the course design while walking and praising it after just a few runs. This one was subtle, and I liked it a lot. Kudos to JB, JY, and everyone else who made it happen!

Long day but I think we, meaning everyone, put on a great event today. The course was a blast and Jeff did a good job of wrangling the event. Course working looked much better than what I had seen in the past. Sound looked like they had their act together. I didn't get a chance to pay much attention to registration, timing, and tech. Thanks a bunch to the chiefs that have put some effort into getting their groups trained. Thanks to the workers for getting things done. Oh, and a big thanks to those that helped get everything put away at the end of the day. I saw a lot of people helping out and it is greatly appreciated.

As always, thanks a bunch to Jeff for letting me drive the Mustang.

Yea it was a blast today. I will definitely be at future events. After I replace my lifters, I had one fail on my 4th run. But all in all it was a good time minus the sunburn

Congrats to Lucas for winning what I assume is the largest class ever in ETR?

Ya'll in Pro Class be glad Brian won't put a set of sticker tires on that Z06 - tires on it had 120 runs/are 3 years old.. it would be a monster on fresh rubber. Thanks again for letting me drive it Brian!

Even though it is laughable how fast an ST car would have to go to match Pilson/Cathers, I had the most fun driving that I've had in a long time. The downhill runs are SOOOOOO fun!

I felt bad that I didn't have a little more tire left for James... the car would have been even better. I just can't drive it seems.
C5s run hot but that was insane. My oil temps were over 260 at one point and never got down below 240 after first runs.

I loved the course and wish I could've gotten a handle on it. I was not aggressive enough in the spots I need to be and just really didn't get along with the car yesterday. The spin was a fitting end to my day. Lol

I have more... but still trying to process it all.

I agree Rife.. As much fun as a course like that is to drive... it nullifies any chance of a small bore car to even get close. I have NEVER been almost 2 seconds out of 1st place in Pro...!

Until the 3rd runs.. I was third.. 1.7 seconds back from 1st... amazing. Im gonna have to work hard this year to win!!! :fight:

From what I saw.. you kept trying to go the wrong way at the bottom.. did you go clockwise every time???

That's because my car was able to warm your tires for you.

It was a long day and like Mark said a big thanks to the workers who helped get the cones, it made for a faster pickup after a long hot day. Great course JB, I could never get the top part like I wanted to and that killed any chance of getting close to James and Mark. Glad the car is working good and I hope it does as well at toledo this weekend. Dewitt had a tough day and I can feel your pain as the spindle issue won't go away and I am going over the car Tuesday evening and hope I don't find any issues.

I had a good time sliding around. I really need to see how to get lower in the car, physically, or see if there really is a "thinner" helmet. I've got my seat bottomed out, and if I recline more it's a really odd seating position.

Sorry I had to bail. I got to not feeling well and also had some world cup beers calling my name at WW. JY - I'll come get the lappys today unless David does first.

BTW - I only walked the course twice and still ended up making 10,000 steps, which for me is about 4 miles. Thought that was neat.

Thanks for all the help. Sorry I caused the day to be even longer. The car is in the shop yet again. The next time Sam Strano says do something, I'll pay more attention.

I was really looking forward to those downhill runs. Good thing the ball joint failed when I was going up hill.

Jeff, the guy in Kingsport who races a Mustang in NASA says ball joint failure is a known problem.

So two questions...

1. Where do complete results with pax show up?

2. Was there some screw up with the timer our did an a-street car really run a 54 second run?
