Chris mentioned another region having a timing box go out and no money to fix it... it was sort of a count your blessings type thing that we are doing fine financially and our stuff works. Not sure how that got construed as having a problem with our timing box.

I think the real issue may be that, as far as I know, you cannot buy a new JAC timer and I'm not even sure they are currently offering a repair service.

The last I heard, they were "working" on a new box and were no longer making the old one. Problem is, that has been the story for a while.

Not long ago I think we bought a backup "black box" timer from AXWare. It doesn't have the LCD readouts, but it would still run timing fine. No idea where it is.

Yep thanks Gary. Also, we have the Farmtek stuff as another backup.

Hmmm.

Wonder if we could hook all this crap up and get segment times at the fall driving school?

Scott has the AXware box.

For segment times we would need more heads. The Farmtek is wireless. Hmmmm not sure how to combine the different systems into the software. Farmtek can handle more heads, but needs the transmitters to mate with the box
