The sway bar installation was going remarkably smooth on the ole Scirocco until I found the crack at the suspension pick up point. Think I need all the chassis welds for the autocross this weekend? What's the worst that could happen if an A-arm separates from the car??

I'm having a bad car year. Time to do some more disassembly, grinding and welding.

Yeah... but with the impending down time of the corvette after nationals I don't see nee making many events after that so my points matter about as much as an English dictionary in today's high schools

Yeah... don't think you saw the issues I had getting to the line from grid this weekend, but with how we had to back up...the car locked up and would not get out of reverse. It doesn't like going in reverse anymore and protests.
I never got a good line at the start as a result. I left it as good as I could on one shot.

Mike Kelly is going to work on it and while it's out. I'm replacing seals, axles, hubs, and already have a clutch kit waiting here for it.
