2015 Registration Team needed

Post by steverife »

I've taken on the role of Chief of Registration and I need a pool of workers so we can cover this task at events. No experience necessary and we will have opportunities to train before the season starts. Please post up or message me if interested.

Benefits:
- You get to sit down during your work assignment and you are protected from the elements.
- You get your work assignment out of the way early.

Requirements:
- Ability to get to events early.
- Basic computer competency. If you are reading this, you qualify.
- You can interact with other people without being a jerk. This is one of the first points of contact for our new members and visitors, so a touch of friendliness and patience goes a long way.

I also need a handful of people that are willing and able to step up and make sure things are running if I can't make an event or an early registration. If you fall into this category, please specify this as well.

Registration Workers
1. Paul Breitweiser
2. Ariel Robbins
3. Andrew Hodge
4. Bradley Allen
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Benefits: Sit Down and protected from elements......I'm IN
Work done early....I'm IN

Requirements: Get to events early ...I'm always up early.....I'm IN
I'm reading this and even posting a reply.....I'm IN
I've got NO problems interacting and helping others ...I was in their shoes last season....I'm IN

Steve....Seriously I was really looking for something I could do for the club next season because of my disability working the course was hard. I signed up to help Jim with the novices but I was just a novice myself and felt out of place so I just worked the corners. I was thinking of seeing if I could do sound but standing out on course in the heat was hard on me. I know AxWare has a demo you can download. I'm also available most anytime for training or step up for whatever you need....

Ariel wants to be a part of the registration team. I can help with operation as well as training provided we're still using Axware next year.

Steve, I've got all the laptops. If you want to get together for a basic overview, let me know. Sometime in Jan/Feb would be fine.

Although I don't wish to be a registration worker, I would like to be trained so I can help out when necessary and help manage the rally X when that comes about. -sean

Thanks, Bradley.

No other updates, Paul. It is offseason, so I'm not sure everyone is reading and I'm sure most of the people that have worked it before would like to continue. The plan is to periodically bump the thread, and of course update people on any kind of training.
