Test & Tune a ticket event?

Post by SeanDrives4Fun »

Can we make test & tune a ticket event?
if registered drivers get say 8 tickets to run the course, we can swap cars (& Karts) learn, play and test as we choose. I love seeing how I do in others cars and often open mine Up. It is great to exsperiance tires and setups and bet "Big Mac's".

I think that such is a great idea. I agree that what you have proposed will be beneficial to other drivers.

Unless I'm missing a change T&T events have always allowed car swaps.

Last year it counted as a ride in the car you were driving. Or we & the starters didn't know better. CRSCCA has always been "ticket" with extras for sale if we finish "early". LIKE!

It will be a true test n tune and No tickets needed but everyone will have to work course in case cones are hit but no cone calls will be needed to be called in to the trailer and we can stay as long as needed as long as we have people to work course and clean up after we all are done.

Yeah, that's how I've always run tnts... $xx for the event and you run as much as you want. Back when I ran them we had a sign up sheet and everyone had to work time slots (like nationals).

I know I might have a chance of getting Kim out there on a day like this.

I won't be at this one, but...

One change I hope we make from last year is a grid guy. I was literally in line the entire time last year.

Depending on how many show up for test n tune we will break it down to just so many drivers in a hour time slot and then switch groups and every one should be able to get many runs in.

I really like this thread. A change of drivers given a car is a great thing. The owner of the car will tell you how about his or hers car drives on the track but nothing else.

I'm really looking forward to 2015 and will need this T&T to test my car and get another new tire setup figured out before the event.

Yes that,s why it is called a test and tune. How would you know what one car doe's to the next without driving them both or four as for that matter.Only thing holding you back is the number of entries and car count vs allowed run group time limit.

Oh yea! Guys parked near start got a run came back and talked a while got back in line and I still didn't get a run. YeaI remember all that emotion now Lol, me and 2 son 3 cars got a total of 12 runs. We just need grid behind the go line and a no cutting policy. That's easy. I so remember that now.

You will be able to drive your car and any one elses car that has paid to be at the test n tune if they let you drive their car. Yes we will have to work course also to set up cones if a driver/car hits a cone during that cars test n tune run. Just like a regular event but no points and no limit on runs. You can run 10 runs and make a adjustment and run 10 more and depending on how many want to be at the test n tune, we may have a limit/cap on the test n tune, but every one will work course also.

Hate that I can't make it.

Hopefully, we can do another one a little later into the year.
