The pro solo at blytheville is open on motorsport reg and you do not have to get the bundle pak, you can sign up for just this event. So who all is going to go?

Re: Blytheville pro
I would like to go, but don't think I'll have my lack of car situation sorted out by then.

Re: Blytheville pro
There's a race at VIR that weekend that I plan to work. Besides, the weather was fairly miserable last year at Blahville. Not to mention that unless the weather is very cooperative for the test and tune and event at Pellissippi the weekend before, it's unlikely my car will be anywhere close to tuned, what with all the new parts.

Dewitt, Mark and I can get your car dialed in pretty close on the test n tune day for you and then you can tweak it to your driving style.

Re: Blytheville pro
Presuming the weather cooperates. Wet and/or cold won't help much. The grip level will be too low. I do think the new rear control arms and relocation bracket have improved rear wheel braking. ABS engagement feels much less rough. I was probably getting some axle hop before. Given the weather, about all I can tell about the handling is that it reacts much faster than it did with the stock setup. I don't have the Torsen and Watts Link installed yet either.jcox07 wrote:Dewitt, Mark and I can get your car dialed in pretty close on the test n tune day for you and then you can tweak it to your driving style.
The Dixie National is on Sebring weekend, so that's out too.

Re: Blytheville pro
Many of you went last year. I hear the Blytheville, Arkansas Pro Solo Event on March 7th and 8th needs to get at least 120 entrants by 2/20 (6 days)to hold the event. Currently there are only 84. I think the final entries last year were well above the 120 minim entries? Is this just a bad timing thing, weather maybe? People wait to last minute...location or more people plan on going to Dixie. Why are they having problems filling it up?

Yeah, bad timing. It's very rough weather there most of the time in March. It is a GREAT site. It gets a bad rap because it's pretty remote, but the people there love to have us in town.
It was just a bad decision to have an event there this early in the year, but there may have been no choice. I hate seeing this event not get good attendance.
Dixie has better entries because the weather will most likely be better. That said, it's usually a little wet at dixie and can be very cool in the mornings but usually warms up nicely.
I also think that this early in the year, people may not be ready for back to back weekends. That's me too. I'd probably do Bluhvuhl if there was 1 or 2 weeks between events.
