Brian...not too much....is anxious finding myself running some of the courses from last season in my head. It's amazing how it stay's with you. One of my favorites was Chillhowie Park. I can see it better now then the event itself. Oh yeah, I've got my GoPro camera, water spray bottle, numbers, stickers, air, scooter charged, helmet, and all the rest ready to go. Other then that ....these anxiety medications seem to be working...

Jeff...what event is in Newton?

I'm not anxious enough to drive 500 miles each way for a one day event. It's almost in Florida.

If you were going to a national event and were trying to win tires you would. I made several changes to the car and this lot is laid out like dixie and I need to know where the car is at.

Here is all the talk about which tire to get for street class, yet not many want to buy multiple sets of tires due to the price. Hoosier never should have been taken out of street because they make one tire in all sizes and now the hunt is on for which tire is the best. The new street rules just make the guys that are trying to win nationals and I mean the ones that go to most of all the tours and pros try several different sets of tires to find which one works best for their car and it ain't cheaper than buying hoosiers in most cases.

Or, you can just pick the tire that most of the fast guys use on your car (or similar car) and save cubic dollars compared to buying hoosiers.

I'm trying to win, but I don't need to test dunlops, kooks, toyos, etc. I'll let someone else figure out what works best. The fact that the Kook is sold out tells me I've probably picked the right tire.

Pilot sport 220 tw in a 335/30/18 for my car cost 489.00 dollars each. Hoosiers cost 412.00 each and I can win them if I do good and no tire company makes a good wide tire in my size but Mich. so I might get by with 2 sets of mich if I had no co drives and I can get hoosiers from Lee for 150.00-200.00 a set and get 6-8 locals out of them, so in my case no way cheaper for street tires than for Hoosiers, but that is just my case.

Really? Everyone's pretty well aware that Hankook has no idea how to distribute tires.
