Headed back to the site for more course walks.

We have some national event newbies here that have now been properly initiated. They have either had a great time or we won't see them back.

The courses seem to have been fun for all. JB seems to have found a tire that makes him happy. The Mustang has been a blast this weekend.

Mark...thinking when ESP ran in the morning it must have been wet cause F Street and other classes were posting better times then you and JY. The course looked fast on video?

Kind of surprised there were that few Toyos. I guess the new shit being dual compound and no pixie dust 195's in 200tw yet (if they make them at all) is the reason behind that.

What a weekend! Thanks to Jeff and the rest of TeamETR for all the help this weekend. The car is awesome, I just have to drive it well.

We brought home a chunk of trophies. I can't even remember them all. We also had a great time off the course.

We had a few mechanical issues on day one. Just part of the beast. But we pulled it together on day two and won a "gentleman's" bet with the two guys co driving the car that won the event. Here are a couple vids from day two.

I hate that our "growing pains" cost us the event....but glad it happened at Dixie and not at Lincoln.

Great time. Thanks to Ryan for warming the tires! The stressful part for me was the long road trip in the RX8. Car drove like a champ on the interstate, though.

I coned my best run on Saturday and failed to improve on Sunday, including a total brain fade on my last run. Still good fun, though, and I wasn't all that far out of third place and a trophy. Considering this was the first time I drove the car after massive changes in the suspension, I'm pretty happy. It's still a bit tail happy and I discovered my rear shocks are leaking, so there are some things to do yet.

My weekend didn't start out too well, as in practice, the new RE71 tires did not do well at all.. push/loose. Changed the car all evening, and still changing during the Sat official runs.. But after lots of changes,and a complete re-study in "trusting" the tires.. My first day on something besides Toyos was very rewarding. It now feels exactly like the Toyo in the front... but much more stuck at the rear.,
I hope the "young" STS class wasn't an illusion.. cause I was not pushed by the class , but instead..trying to beat Darrin in PAX in his EP car. (I failed)
but, it was my highest PAX finish in the STS car at Dixie after 4 wins there. So Ill have to assume that the car is on a better pace than with the TOYO tires. Ill for sure back to back them when the 200tw 195 comes out.
We made some good time coming back home..till I got pulled over at the Fairmont exit in N Ga. I was running 50mph getting of the exit for gas,between two cops that I just had slowed down to let them merge bach into the road... needless to say.. I was very stunned when I saw the Blues come on.. lol
Then, when he came up to the car..got my info..he then ask me to come to the back of my car... (Im thinking heres the next episode of "COPS"!! )
As I walk back there.. He sticks out his hand and says.. Mr Brown.. I want to first tell you why I pulled you over.. and that Im not gonna write you a ticket..not even a warning.. NOw Im thinking.. which one uh you asshatz pulled this off?? LOL!
He tells me that when I went from the middle lane to the rt lane..TO GET OFF THE EXIT... I got too close to his partner in front of me.. 50 mph... 3 cars space at least. I didn't give a shit.. he already told me NO TICKY!
slowed my azz down tho... for at least 5 miles!
