Questions on T&T

Post by Teufelshund »

Since we're not running official times or anything, are we still running registration as normal, registering individual drivers, or are we registering cars?

Also, what is the rain/snow day policy?

Yes we will run it like a regular event to make sure the new updates work.

So we are not doing official times but still running timer and doing all the other normal things like working?

My understanding is it will be run like a normal event with respect to registration and timing. There will be course workers but no cone calls since we're not scoring. We should have live timing as well.

Yes, this will be a good dry run for our new teams.

As far as rain/snow....I think either one of those in Feb are likely to kill the event. If it's snowing or raining, I probably will skip it, personally.

I'm going to try to have registration open on Sunday. I have a lot of work to do with MSR and have to find my way around a little.

That answers the question I was about to ask.

I like Brian's question, but not sure I comprehended the answer. If the weather is good at all, I desire 2 runs in the kart, 2 in my tow vehicle I'll be running at non kart events (bristol ) and the rest in Gregs NA i'm helping build and Andrews MSM. How do I need to register?

The test n tune will be the same price as the events are. You will have to pay just like an event before you get to run, 25.00 dollars for scca members. Any one signed up, you can drive their car if they allow you to. Only those signed up and pay can run and we will register just like a normal event.

You should register for the number and class you will primarily run all year. we're reserving numbers to prevent issues with them overlapping so much

Will sound be set up? This would be a good opportunity to make sure you're still okay if you have made any changes.

I think the Chair of the event needs to decide that.I think we need a sound limit so as to not to piss anyone off and we keep our site.
