Lets use used tires with 1/4 by 1/4 studs that everyone can grab at the local hardware store screw them in and Frozen lot/lake no prob.Did it up north and fun it is. Need to limit runs on the lake due to the ice getting worn down.

Sounds like fun, but I don't think the ice will be quite thick enough.

I can guarantee that I won't be at these events with the temps as cold as they still be. Cones become destructive at those temps and I don't need that

long range forecast shows overnight low of 21° with a high of 40° for the TnT … with an overnight of 28° and high of 47° with 60% chance of rain / snow showers in the morning ….

that all equals ugh … and doubtful attendance for me … I'm truly turning into a wimp the older I get

Yeah..... no way am I making the trek across the gorge on I-40 in snow with fairly worn down RS3s. Weather permitting I'll be there, but as we all know it could change by next week.

well I'm good to go, been playing on ice all week just in case, not sure what Teds problem is Lol, played with a 2 stroke four wheeler, shot oil everywhere but he looked like he was having fun!

I have all the warm, waterproof gear to use on the kart and 2 sets of rain tires to choose from. The Hoosiers have the best pattern for churning through the freezing mix forecast. But, I don't have the jets to run in that cold a temp, don't want to risk sticking the motor and paying $$$$ for trying to run on days I won't learn anything pertinent and most likely won't have much fun anyway.

Does YerfDog make an AWD kart?
