There are plenty of friendly people around to help you out; just ask. Try to show up as early as you can so you have plenty of time to register, tech, and walk the course. Hope to see you out there!

Also, it sounds like the actual SCCA national class for you car would be SMF - Street Modified (FWD)

There are 2 kinds of autocrossers....

People who love Hondas and people who have been beaten by Hondas. :)

Civic was my reference, should have been more specific...lol Jed also won a event in 2013, I think the last event we had that year.

Well, anyway, the civic/crx is one of the best all around autocross cars out there. The 88-90 Si has been good enough to embarrass cars that are much better on paper.

OP - your car should be fun. With the turbo, you're really going to have to modulate throttle out of corners though. Otherwise, you'll roast your inside front tire and end up going nowhere....unless you have a really incredible differential.

The Solo Rules remind me of a software manual. It's useless unless you already know what you're doing and just need a reminder. It's also written as a guide to preparing a car. You pick a category that includes your car and then see what you can do to it. It's much harder to find a class for a car that's already been modified. The problem is that often a specific mod you've already done moves the car into a class where either it's never going to be competitive or that lots more mods are needed to make it competitive.
