Novice PAX classes

My cousin was going to run in STM but wanted to run Novice. Is that possible, or just pointless with a 1.00 PAX? I think he could also run DSP. He has a decently modded Hyundai Tiburon. Definitely out of ST regs.

I'm not completely sure but I know it has a bigger throttle body and I think there's at least one other thing that puts it put of ST
