Sound assessment
Hey ETR, as you may or may not know, we're trying to adjust our sound policy to compensate for different types of exhaust systems and engines. We need a couple volunteers to help us test an idea. All you'll have to do is sit in your stationary car and rev it up with the sound meter set up 50' from your exhaust exit. No risk, you're not going to get in trouble if you blow sound during this test. It would be great to have a Cobra and a couple smaller engine cars that are considered loud. We definitely need at least one loud Miata or Honda. Your help would be much appreciated.

I'm working on getting a new setup for my CRX … it won't be done for this weekend … if you'd like to use my car this weekend in all it's loudness I'll be happy to be a guinea pig

That's it, it's a date - 50' out the back parked - that's what we want to see.integra55 wrote:If you'd like to use my car this weekend in all it's loudness I'll be happy to be a guinea pig

Re: Sound assessment
I could help depending on when. I repacked muffler, but may still be an issue.

Thanks Bradley - the more data we can compare the more we'll know.

You can use my car I've been close in the past without my supertrapp tip which can be easily removed and reinstalled
