I wanted to thank Mark as well as Mazda for giving me the chance to go to Naitonals this year. This year has been a real hard year with a lot of kids stuff going on and taking all my autocross funds away. Well when things were looking to be a bleak as they can be my wife filled out the Mazda sponsor ship survey online and they called today to say I won. WOW I am looking forward to spending time with all my autocross friends. I can't tell you how much this means to me and as some of you know this last several years has been real hard on me as well as my family with the fact that my kids have been through a lot over the last little bit but we are looking forward to some more sunny days soon.
Thanks again Mark for letting me drive the car at nationals! Lets just hope my little girl Sara doesn't break a leg on the second day again. What a way to start your second day at nationals having someone come up to you and let you know that your daughter is on her way to the Hospital while your class is being brought to the line. It was a hard trip back last year. I am hoping I can still drive even though I haven't been behind the wheel at a autocross since last year at nationals. I can't believe that its been that long since I have raced because I remember the days where I would do about 35 - 40 events per year and did another 6 or so Evo schools on top of that. Wow I was tan back then. lol
