Adessa

Post by oldmuscle69 »

Well how many cones are we going to use for this event? more than 44 or less? Same course as last year or a new thought? The right to left hand bend to the finish has gotten old.

As few as possible. It will be different. Especially the finish. ....it's always kinda scared me.

Now may be a good time to be figuring out how far away.. or how close the cars are gonna be parked to the course area.. THAT decides everything at this venue.

however... Im feeling LUCKY this weekend... :fight:

I am really looking forward to Adessa. Broke down on grid last year with some charging issues. Lucas and I (mostly Lucas) got the Megasquirt running on the car and it really helped the midrange power dip in the powerband on the car. Can't wait to see how it translates on the course.

I have the AFM still in the car currently. I think I am going to wire in the AIT today. It has a slight "rubber band" type acceleration feel when in higher RPM and I press the throttle quickly. I think it's the lag between the AFM reading and the MAP/TPS read out.

There is no AFM reading that MS uses afaik. Need more tuning, especially accel enrichments.

I LOVE Adesa. Can't wait.

Sure hate to drop in here with some smack talk but I am really looking forward to the Adesa event for so many reasons. Here are just a few reason....

1. After wringing out Bob's Miata at Milton Frank a few events ago, I am ready for another taste of that STR goodness.
2. It has been to long since I have been in great STR car.
3. Charity...no better reason except....
4......
