East Tennessee Region SCCA

We are looking for suggestions on where to meet for Board Meetings in the future. Our next meeting will be at Sam & Andy's in Farragut but we aren't dead set on staying there. Here are our needs:

- no room rental fees
- ability for individuals to pay on their own
- a room separate from everyone else that can hold at least 25 and probably more
- beer availability is preferred but not a requirement
- ability to get a standing reservation on the first Tuesday of every month

To give you some ideas of where we have met before, we were meeting at Calhoun's in Turkey Creek. We have met at Mr. Gatti's, Mimi's Cafe, an automotive performance shop, among others.

What happened to Mr Gattis? That place had a good closed door meeting room..

If you mean the one in karns, it is were cooking now and I will check to see if they still have the meeting room.

Last time we tried Gattis the booted us outnofnthe room for boy scouts or soccer team. Could have meeting for all the kids screaming, running around past us trying to have the meeting

You could hit up Central Flats and Taps or Barley's. AMBC has meetings at both and they are accommodating.

Both have areas that can be closed off, Barley's has a full upstairs room, order at bar, bring your food/beer in etc.

Just a thought.

Barleys in Maryville is a whole lot more nice that the one in the old city. Not sure if folks would travel to Murvul for the meeting tho.

I don't know if oak ridge is out but the new pizza inn is available. Has private room that will hold 40-50. I know the owners real well and would be no charge. They do not have beer though.
