ETR is un****ing believable

Post by integra55 »

you guys are just what the title says … totally unbelievable … I just got around to opening yesterdays mail … 2 cards opened the first and it was a very nice card from JY and Lin … thank you

then I opened the other one

I still can't believe what was in it … and some folk wonder why I run with y'all as opposed to other groups … this truly is family .. the card and the check … actually brought tears to my eyes … or else the fan just blew some dust in my face … yeah, that's it

y'all can't even begin to guess (maybe you can) what that did to me

family really can't cover all that y'all mean to me and to everyone else that's part of the ETR family

Hello JY, Lin, and all the other involved ETR members,

Just finished a conversation with our common, and this afternoon, somewhat emotional buddy, Walter. Be assured your card and generous gift MADE HIS DAY!!! Walter's title for this thread is EXACTLY CORRECT!!! Thanks for continuing to help me be a very proud member of the always friendly and caring group of individuals known as ETR!

We missed having you out at the end of the season and look forward to having you back out here. We had to be careful to be sure someone didn't accidentally "spill the beans" on it. I hope it comes in handy. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Hey Walter, I never got around to signing the card, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you back out next year! It's definitely not the same without you

guys … thanks …

the plan is to be there … working on the car (actually getting others to do so) but still, wouldn't be doing the work if I wasn't planning on being there

again, y'all are unbelievable

I assume that some of it will come back when the Thrush infection goes away completely … right now I really don't have much/any appetite … so for the time being I've only put back 3 - 5 # so far

Walter! I didn't get to sign the card, but I just wanted to let you know it's always great to see you at events. You bring a sense of comradery to any group you're with and I don't think you've ever met a stranger. Looking forward to catching you at ETR and NASA-SE events next season!

thanks to all … I'm truly indebted to a couple of guys from HSCC that drug me over to ETR many yrs ago … they were telling how great it was to run with y'all … that was more the 7 yrs ago, because I was still driving my Integra, and this upcoming yr (assuming all goes well) will be my 7th with the CRX

those 2 would be Chaz Faulk and Larry Johnson … they don't make the trip over the mountains anymore, but my heartfelt thanks to them
