DC pro only has 50 more entrants than us.

Pretty cool that there are enough autoxers to almost fill 2 national events the same weekend plus the Wilmy T&T

Im taking several FB hits and text asking about the lot and the event...

Its making me a lil nervous that we pull this off precisely.
However... Im sure the course will be better than Corvette Event last year.. lol

With over 2000 feet in length and 460 at the widest point and 365 wide on the other end, BMS has lots of course options. Anything would be better than a skid pad and guard rails coming at you like at the NCM had.

I'm also getting emails from people who wanted just a little more information like motels in the area before they register. Some regions that I've been promoting the event are picking up chatter on the MT also. We have already passed San Diego MT who had 142....Once the weather forecast comes out and if it's a beautiful weekend I can see 175-200...will be a much better then NCM last year.

I honestly feel like we would have already reached our cap limit if not for the D.C Pro, but to be at 150 now is just awwwwwwsum and I think we will still grow as we get closer to the event. We must focus on this event like no other and pull off the best match tour event to date. Thanks to all that have helped and those that are going to be helping. Again THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

I'm definitely going to make it for at least Saturday. I would love to do the whole weekend but I don't want to drive back and forth. Are there any resorts around there that the wife and kids could stay at so they could have a little mini vacation? It's hard to keep a 1 year old and a 4 year old happy standing around in a parking lot.

I know there is a nice park in Bristol. I'm sure there are things to do around there with little ones, I just can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Maybe McMark knows something.

BTW, great job with promoting the event! If the weather turns out good, I think we will have an awesome event!

There's not much for kids around here. We basically alternate between Chuck E cheese and some inflatable places in Kingsport and Johnson City. There is a fairly new pool place http://www.swimkingsport.com/ they could go to if the weather is nice. That's about it unless you go to a park.
