Volunteers needed Cars and Cones Autocross Smokies Stadium May 3

On Tuesday, May 3 the Cars and Cones Autocross Road Trip will be making its second stop at Smokies Stadium and we are looking for a few more volunteers to help put the event on.  Volunteers will receive a T-shirt and free unlimited runs on the autocross course for approximately an hour and a half prior to the start of the event. The course will be open to volunteers only from @9:30am to 11:00am then the course goes hot for participants Noon-5:00pm. Also volunteers are invited to attend the post event social party which will include dinner and beverages.  One fun thing we are doing is instead of a “meet the staff” at the party we are going to have a “beat the staff” challenge, since we consider volunteers staff, come on out, make some runs, we will record your times then help us with the event and we will put your times up on the staff board!

Spoke to Brian today, sounds fun (mid week like) type of fun but anyway I might be there. Work was EOM today and not sure all got finished.(crap) I still got a bit to do myself. Son of a gun, work or fun,both or what.

I had a Hoot today, I got to know a lot of new to me guys and gals. I let a guy drive my car and I also drove and got feed back,awsome!! Strano is a hoot(he eats a lot) but does seem to like JY(not sure if it is the money JY spends) The Miatas Ruled the lot only two of em but they were smoke'n,the 2.5 swap helped one go real fast.

Great day at Smokey Stadium! Thanks Eric for helping bob and myself. Over one hundred cars and only four guy shagging cones, long day for us but everyone had a great time.
