This car had a very successful history. Probably the most dependable Road Race car I ever have know of. Won a couple of Pro ITs in the mid 90s. Up against Tom Fowler. Finished 2nd a season with Tom winning. A 2nd place battle with Bob Stretch in the last year of the DIP at Road Atlanta ARRC race, and on the next to last lap I touched my front tire with Bobs rear tire on his Nissan, coming under the bridge and snapped the welded diff that I had been running that season. Still finished top 5 lol
Cars maiden race at Memphis Motorsports Park, it set a new track record in ITA by a half second. The car was a fun build. Nobody had anything for them at the time. If anyone remembers Pudgy from TopGun engines in Clinton.. he did the crank and piston fitting. The car turned some fast laps for a long time on that engine.
Lee, you had that car a long time! Good Luck to it's next driver!!
