**2026 Event Leads, Chiefs, and Announcements**

Post by thrdeye »

Please see below for the Event Leads and Core Chiefs for 2026. We're still needing a lead for a few events, as shown below. If you have partcipated in even just a few events, you can lead one. We will help you. :)

2026 ProSolo Program

There will be a ProSolo test and proof of concept event in April or May. Depending on the results of that event, there may be two local ProSolos later in the year. The ProSolo test event is not an event in earnest. It will be a few cars testing out the hardware, software, and starting procedures and it's very unlikely it will be an actual competition. We hope to be - at some point later in the year - one of the only SCCA regions to run a Regional ProSolo program!

ANNOUNCEMENTS & GOALS FOR 2026
  • We are going to work on having clearer communications at events as well as times announced using the PA and an FM broadcast. If you have a face for radio, think about volunteering. I am going to chief this position for the year and can show you the ropes!
  • We will be creating a new position for end of day cleanup at all events. For some time now, the same crew has been hanging out to pack up at the end of the day and they're tired, boss. We will need 2 to 4 workers to sign up for end of day clean up. This will be your only work assignment. If, by the last heat of the day, we do not have volunteers, we will assign this position at that time. If this sounds like something you would want to do all the time, let us know!
  • Safety Item: We need everyone's help in making sure that passengers in cars meet the rules of being 12 years old AND at least 57 inches tall. If you are a competitor and bring someone to ride along, please don't try to skirt this.

I’m more than happy to assist with workers, or wherever else I can.
