ETR Novice school

Post by joker717 »

Hey guys I was wondering if the ETR school was limited to novice drivers? If not I plan on attending. Im not technically a novice but I dont have very many events under my belt. I dont have the funds to drop $300+ on evo school so I hope I can get in on this for some help and seat time.

JR ...I did it last year you will benefit from it plus you get to apply what you learned the next day at the points event so it stays fresh in your mind.

Yeah I did the school 2 years ago which was my first time out and learned a lot but was in a different car and only ran about 5 events between then and the beginning of this season so I didn't get to try out anything I learned. Now I'm pretty much starting over this season.

Do we know yet what the price will be for this school? I'm interested and may have a friend interested but cost will be a factor for both of us. I know in the past it wasn't all that expensive but didn't want to make any assumptions. I know reg isn't open yet for this but was hoping someone could give us an idea of the price.

Usually around $85 i think. May vary depending on site fees, so don't take that to the bank yet.

I would do the novice school, but I don't think any instructor would sit on the shifter kart with me. :(

We usually limit the school to 20-25 students.

Just to give a fair warning, this will be open in the next few days. As it sits, we are going to limit it to 25 people.

Well, I can train on what a safe cone means V/s one out side of the box. We have been to a point safe cones have been called out,and on many events. Our corner chiefs need to wake up and watch the cars and cones.
