NEW! Tailor Aluminum battery boxes on ebay

Post by CMS-GT4 »

I just bought one, thought it looked like a good deal. Thought I would share. There are a few left.
Most aluminum boxes I have seen are 125-170.
This one is NHRA approved.

I've been using this battery box for years (from SummitRacing):

Aluminum
Aluminum (Black Powdercoat)

$89

Slightly more expensive, but it looks to be much sturdier that the one pictured on e-bay. People are paying $170 for battery boxes??? I need to start making battery boxes...

Anyone have a source for the battery cable for the trunk relocation of the battery?

I am trying to find an inexpensive source.

Try a welding shop. Ask for welding cable. They have several different sizes that should work. I used that on my car and it was cheap.

I've been buying that sort of stuff at Battery Distributing Co. on Magnolia Avenue. You can have them crimp permanent terminals on and it will look like a factory install. Their number is 523-9842

1 or 0 (zero), depending on the price... I'd go with 0 if it isn't too much more expensive.
