Protest.

You are missing a heat shield.

Yeah, I know. Planning to pick up a used SPT or something similar. The TMIC bakes enough without the extra heat from the turbo/DP.

How are you liking it? What class you planning on running? I am assuming STU since it looks like it has a downpipe.

This thing is going to get me in trouble before too long... I'm lovin' it so far! So much more power and torque over the Maxima! I was taking Andrew (4drspeed) for a ride and got on I40 west at Bridgewater. Took the STi up to around 80-90, then slowed down to 65. Literally this was right after watching someone on 40 get pulled over as we drove down the access road past Wally World. I slowed down to 65 in the 1st slow lane, and a cop blew past about 10 seconds later.

Yes, it will be STU... On stock suspension...

If you go to STU make sure you have a stock heatshield....unless that rule has changed.

"Heatshields may be modified the minimum amount necessary to incorporate approved changes" or somethin like that.

Congrats on the purchase. If you need help with anything, lemmie know.

You on nasioc yet? Beware teh OT

Oh and Gebbia...here are those coilovers. Can't beat em for the price - http://www.importimageracing.com/mm5/me ... -coilovers

I really don't think you need doubles with a RR

Actually these were the ones I had (standard). I think inverted suspension will ride a little rougher than these - http://www.importimageracing.com/mm5/me ... -coilovers

I agree doubles are completely unnecessary. Put all your money into suspension first, and put power last.

Those prices sound a lot better than 2k.

And, Trey...somehow I am going to do it all at the same time. As for suspension all I need is the coilovers. Probably some bushings and small things later on. Not sure about rear sway bar yet. Power I will do dp, midpipe with high flow, P&P header, AccessPort, and tune. Not sure if I want to get an intake or not. Eventually get some different wheels. Tires. And I think I will be done. Then maybe look at stuff like lighter battery but that kind of stuff will be very last on my list.

The STU rules do allow modification of the heat shield. Only small modifications to make it fit around the DP. Not sure if they allow after market or not.

It sounds like many people have. As long as the sensor is after the cat. If I can find something that will do with 2 then I may go with that to be safer. That is just $$$ though.

Be careful, I threw a code with only one cat. If you need help with install let me know. You can use my garage if you need to.

What downpipe did you have? By the time I start doing all of this I will have my own garage. Not going to do anything until I have my place sold and into a new place.
